The UFCW Unions and Food Employers Pension Plan of Central Ohio (the Plan) was established on April 1, 1968. The Plan is able to provide these retirement benefits as a result of collective bargaining agreements between the Unions (UFCW Locals 1059 and 1099) and various participating employers. A list of participating employers in the Plan follows:
  • Great Scot
  • Hudson Street Market
  • Kroger Company (Local 1059)
  • Kroger Company (Local 1099)
  • Mansfield Distributing
  • McClurg Groceries
  • UFCW Local 1059
  • UFCW Local 1099
  • UFCW Union & Employers Benefit Plan of Southwestern Ohio Area
  • UFCW Unions & Employers H&W Plan of Central Ohio
Each of these employers has agreed (through the collective bargaining process) to make contributions to the Plan on your behalf based upon the number of hours you work. From these contributions, your retirement benefits grow. So, the longer you work, the more retirement benefits you will earn. To determine if you have met the eligibility requirements for retirement benefits, please contact our office.

In order to assist you in managing your retirement benefits, you can download and print Food Pension forms.
